One of the prominent features includes the Salary option, which allows users to view their pay slips, income tax deductions, and generate annual salary statements, both current and projected. It also facilitates the submission of online requests to adjust advance tax deductions.

Furthermore, iHRMS-Punjab provides a GPF (General Provident Fund) Ledger & Statement under its dedicated GPF section, giving employees the convenience to monitor their fund contributions. There is also a GIS (Group Insurance Scheme) tab that delineates contributions toward saving and insurance funds.

For managing work-life balance, the Leave option is particularly advantageous, enabling users to apply for leave online, track the status, and review their leave ledger, which displays the variety of leave types available. Additionally, employees can view details of their Leave Reporting/Approving officers.

Employees seeking financial assistance can benefit from the Loans & Advances section, which displays relevant details and the progress of recovery. Moreover, the platform allows for submitting requests for updating personal contact details, such as mobile numbers, email, and address, to ensure current information is reflected and verified by the appropriate authority.

The system also encompasses a directory of phone numbers and emails of other departments, a feature to recognize colleagues with upcoming birthdays, and a list of official holidays. Users can stay informed with government notifications pertinent to their respective departments and other interdepartmental communications.

To ensure secure access, the platform enforces a robust two-level authentication process involving an employee code with a password and a personal identification number (PIN). This security measure underscores the commitment to safeguard the sensitive data accessible within it.
